Illumination is located in downtown Louisville at 640 South 4th Street, between Broadway and Chestnut Street, south of 4th Street LIVE!. Convenient parking can be found in either the 3rd Street Parking Garage, also known as the Brown Hotel Garage, and the 5th Street Parking Garage. Both are only a short walk from our offices. Find us on the 2nd floor of the Bisig Impact Centre building.

Once you arrive at our office, you will check in with the photo coordinator and have your sitting fee collected ($75 yearbook only or $125 for Lifestyle session). For the yearbook only session, you will have approximately 15-20 poses to choose from. If you have chosen the Lifestyle Session, you will have multiple scenes to choose from, including studio, green screen and outdoor options. You will have approximately 80-100 poses to choose from. You will be emailed a link to view photos approximately 1-3 business days after your session

Your sitting fee is due at the time of your session. When you decide to order photos, payment will be collected when you order through our online portal.

You can add hair and makeup to any session for $150. Here are our makeup artist’s tips to ensure you get the most out of your session:

• Please be on time.  If you are running behind, the makeup artist will not be able to spend the appropriate amount of time with you during your appointment.
• Please come with clean, dry hair.
• Please do not wear sunglasses on the way to your photo session, as it can cause indentions on the nose and face. Also, please do not wear headbands or ponytails on the day of your session, these may cause indentions and creases in the hair.
• For wardrobe, make sure that your clothes are cleaned and pressed.  Bring an assortment of outfits to show your personality. Basic attire should be neutral, white, and black. Neutrals are always best, and if you have a strapless bra, bring it for your drape shot.
• Most importantly, get plenty of sleep, bring your smile and have fun!

It is best to reply to the same email message that included your proof link. Please provide: Name, school, and image number. If there are any questions or concerns, contact our studio with your choice.

You can either provide the number of the image you selected in the notes section on your order, or send us an email with your favorite image.
